The National Art School, formed in its current state in 1995, is an art school in Sydney, Australia. It is a Public Company Limited by Guarantee with a board of directors. It has Institutional Registration and Course Accreditation supported by the NSW Department of Education and Training Higher Education Directorate. It is these days the sole occupant of the historic Darlinghurst Gaol.
